WE ARE TRUCE

TRUCE is a non-profit organization, founded to empower rural communities and improve living standards through literacy, skill development and basic education, leading to increased participation in development activities through sustained opportunities of self-advancement. TRUCE also focuses on community health and awareness of civic values human rights, democracy, tolerance and equality. It conducts major programmes in Education, Computer Literacy, Mother and Child Care, and Female Capacity Building. TRUCE was formally registered as a juristic entity in April 2003 in Islamabad with the Joint Sub-Registrar Islamabad under the Trust Act 1882 (Registration No 1214). In April 2005, the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) conferred TRUCE with NPO certification award (PCP-2005/0029) after satisfying itself against stringent compliance parameters. The organization is re-evaluated every three years.
