TRUCE was formally registered as a juristic entity in April 2003 in Islamabad with the Joint Sub-Registrar Islamabad under the Trust Act 1882 (Registration No 1214). In April 2005, the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) conferred TRUCE with NPO certification award (PCP-2005/0029) after satisfying itself against stringent compliance parameters. The organization is re-evaluated every three years.
